This is probably not the Jesse Johnson who played with the Time and Prince, though numerous website's lump this single in with the more famous Jesse Johnson's discography. Still, both You're Blowin Holes and Funky Soul Stroll show up on many R&B and Soul DJ playlists, and with good reason. Somewhere between the best of Parliament and the better of James Brown's 70's output, both songs are top quality funk 70's style R&B rockers.
