Accidental Nostalgia Halloween Show - Begins 3:00pm ET / 12:00pm PT Saturday, October 31st

SIX HOURS OF GETTING YOU READY FOR MISCHIEF!!!! CAUTION: THOUGH NOT OFFICALLY CONFIRMED BY THE FDA, LISTENING TO JANE, NORM AND RANDY HAS BEEN OBSERVED TO CAUSE TEMPORARY PSYCHOSIS, BROWNING OF THE TOENAILS, TEMPORARY LOSS OF HEARING, EURPHORIA, DISPHORIA, BAD SPELLING, RUNNY NOSES, NYMPHOMANIA, AN INTENSE URGE TO FLY A KITE, HAIR GROWTH IN UNUSUAL PLACES, AND ASSORTED UNNATURAL URGES.

There we told you. Now what we really want to know is where do we get a pumpkin that comes with a girl like that! At least Randy and I do . . . oh, Jane does too.

You MUST join us on Saturday, October 31st . . . Halloween . . . yes, that means YOU. The you who clicked through from Twitter, Facebook or Radio Dentata, or the bookmark you've been tasteful enough to put on your computer.

We're starting 3:00pm ET / 12:00pm PT and we'll be on Radio Dentata for six hours, just up to the decent hour to go be indecent on Halloween. After the show, we'll go do undescribable things . . . what will you do? We want videos!

While we're broadcasting we'll be playing Halloween favorites, plus some obscure and rare music on vinyl that we've dug up, and we'll play some old-time radio dramas that I've remastered so us old farts can hear what the actors are saying.

I'll have ready a radio play by Philip K Dick that isn't too widely circulated, plus another adapted from an H P Lovecraft story, maybe a few others.

Got something you want us to play? Post requests on the Discussion Board on our Facebook fan page Counter-Clock Records.

Here's another Philip Dick radio play I remastered:

Accidental Nostalgia Tuesdays 4PM PDT/7PM EDT

WELCOME TO THE 21ST CENTURY . . . SORT OF.

With new releases from Circulatory System, Apples In Stereo and Hope Sandoval, plus Will Cullen Harts first interview about his MS, and possible OTC reunion . . . and Neutral Milk Hotel re-releasing their two albums on 180-gram vinyl . . . it seemed like as good a time as any to come into the present.

Ok, so it puts Randy to sleep, and makes Jane feel like she's overdosed on Prozac. But that means you have to listen . . . because Norm needs the love.

Also, the eBay Top 5, and U2 in the news (they don't feel the love either).

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds Pic and Julian Lennon Releases Tribute Song To Lucy Vodden

Thought at various times over the decades to be lost, filed away, owned by a greedy record executive, protected at gunpoint by Julian Lennon's mother, the picture (above) that Julian Lennon drew of his friend Lucy Vodden surfaced shortly before Lucy's death late last month.

This is the picture credited with inspiring John Lennon and Paul McCartney to write "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds".

First published in the UK's Daily Mail, the image has propagated all over the internet (and good thing because The Daily Mail doesn't keeps its old news stories in good, findable, order), so why not here too.

Julian has released a tribute song to Lucy Vodden (located here). Proceeds go to fight Lupus.
