Book Review: When Life Cracks by Rev Peggie Russell

A series of stories from different angles and how faith works at one's lowest

This is first the story of the author, a lawyer and pastor, and her journey from life with a successful husband who himself became addicted to crack cocaine to a renewed and successful life for the author where she finds herself in an Anaheim, CA hotel room where God calls her to tell her story many years later. Second, it is a series of stories of other people, caught in adultery, personal crisis and desperation. Though it is full of scripture, and as a non-believer much of that is beyond my interest, the human stories here are compelling in the struggle to find comfort and overcome challenges.
