Something defies logic in the longevity of a band so entrenched in a time and place that for a few years in the 70's and 80's they served a fodder for jokes about the 60's and burned out hippies. This is towards the end of their primal moment. After this various configurations put out a few more records culminating in 1975's "Scorching Beauty" which while forgotten upon its release is now a minor collectible.
