Book Review - The Enchanted River Race by Caldric Blackwell

A very tight and fun book about friendship and perseverance

Through riddles, volcanoes and waterfalls, Amy and her friends must persevere to win the race. This book contains its theme of friendship, teamwork and perseverance with excellence. It's a medium length children's book, and with Amy being 11 years old seems appropriate for readers eight and up, or younger if they are advanced readers. The illustrations are fairly simple, so it's a children's book whose story is in the words.

Been looking for an interesting early chapter book for my son. The Enchanted River Race looks like just what I've been looking for. Thanks for the review.
