Book Review - Making Life Better by James Vandenburg

A book the focuses on the practicalities of simplifying our thoughts

James Vandenburg stresses simplicity. The book begins with areas of thought in which most of us could benefit from a more uncomplicated approach to demonstrations of how humans overcomplicated matters and how we can unwind our thought patterns and behaviors. Then he goes into needs of forgiveness and compassion, to both give and receive. Vandenburg's background is in music, and the book connects itself together in a very musical way by building on motifs. Sometimes that makes it seem a little trivial, but then life's problems can seem trivial when one simplifies them, so if one is open there is a lesson there.
