Book Review - Legends Lost: Galdin by Nova Rose

Excellent end to a very adept series

Nova Rose has created a solid trilogy of which this is her last book. She writes excellent action and battle scenes that can be easily followed by young readers. In Galdin she has created my two favorite of all her characters - Galdin and Nylana. They play off each other in a tense but fun way in their adventure, and in the end must escape from Lord Stefon. I'm teetering on giving too much away here.

Nova Rose (aka Janet McNulty) has created one of the treasures of the Kindle age - though the idea for the series occurred to her long before the Kindle. So may the Kindle was made for this series :)

Anyway, if you want to find a good writer that you probably wouldn't have found if not for ebooks, this is one trilogy for you.

Book Review - Legends Lost: Tesnayr by Nova Rose

Fantasy story with well planned battle scenes

I enjoyed this detailed fantasy story with very smoothly written battles scenes. The story focuses on Tesnayr a warrior from a far away land, however many other strong characters populate this story. I particularly liked Nelyn, the daughter of the warrior Jarown, who is a strong warrior in her own though her father tries to protect her. Battle scenes make or break a book like this, and I read it without having to piece together on my own what was going on. First rate.
