Soul dominates this week taking all 5 spots, with Northen Soul treasures in the top 4. Not only is the $5k barrier broken but its broken twice and both times its over the $7k mark. First, bidding up to its highest closing price, and on eBay for the first time since '05, Margaret Little's 45 gets $7.4k. And in the #2 spot, Lester Tipton's "This Won't Change" closes at $7.2k. These are the highest closes for any record since 08/02 when Tool's Aenima test pressing sold for $7.5k, and this is only the third week with a closing bid above $7k this year.
Next, Tommy and the Derby's 45 record bids up past $4.5k, and Al Williams "I Am Nothing" goes past $3.2k. The #5 spot goes to the private press Soul Expedition LP for more than $2.9k.
