For anyone who ever wanted to read what it about what happens behind the scenes of a political campaign., this is a no-brainer. The character of Jack Canon is dynamic and complex as is the people surrounding him. Sandy his "right hand" is an invaluable member of his team and the sexual tension between them is electric in it's subtlety at times. There is real and real dirty politics between these pages but Canon is a believable and inspirational character who is definitely flawed but honorable. The book takes the reader on a journey through a Presidential campaign and it's a roller coaster ride at times. A very good read, well worth my time!
