First off, Popsike has updates on 70k auctions, which catches them up to late April. This brings up the discovery that the #1 record this week should have held a #1 spot in March, but having been offered only in the UK, the March sale misses my radar. The alternate take sampler of David Bowie's "Hunky Dory" sells this week on a Buy-It-Now for $6.5k.

The #2 spot goes to a rare pressing of Bach's Violin Concertos, selling for almost $4.3k. A Northern Soul 45 from the D.C. area gets the #3 spot, bidding up past $3.3k.

Among the last mono records to see their way into world are the DJ copies for AM radio airplay from the early seventies. A "Sticky Fingers" of this variety gets the #4 spot, selling for over $3.2k.

And last, a Brian Wilson produced 45 RPM record from Bob and Sheri auctions off for a dollar under $3k.
