Asking For Jim Morrison's Bail Money

Gotta Have Rock And Roll, one of the auction houses that will deal in some of the stranger memorabilia (though they haven't gotten into bodies parts yet), is offering this interesting piece of ephemera.

To the left is Jim Morrison's bail bond, from the concert incident in Miami, where by various accounts, the lead singer of the Doors either exposed his penis or simply unzipped his jeans and stuck the microphone through.  Either way, he was arrested for indecent exposure.

Interestingly, Gotta Have Rock And Roll's opening bid is the exact amount of Morrison's bail - $40,000.  However in today's dollars the bail amount would have been $250k.
