Vinyl Records Top 5 eBay Sales Week Ending 08/18/2007

Queen beat The Beatles, Blues legends and Elvis for the top sale on eBay last week. A blue vinyl Columbian pressing of The Works LP sold for $5,001.55 with 16 bids from a starting bid of $400.01.

A rare Vee Jay #498, Beatles "Please, Please Me" / "Ask Me Why" sold in the #2 spot for $4,500.00. This mint condition 45 received 6 bids from a starting bid of $2,250.00. Next, a Lightning Hopkins Mojo Hand LP on the Fire label sold for $3,070.00 with 20 bids from a starting bid of $75.99.

In the #4 spot landed a Robert Johnson 78 RPM record, "Kind Hearted Woman Blues" / "Terraplane Blues", sold for $2,711.45, receiving 19 bids from a starting bid of $100.00.

And last, Elvis makes the top 5 for the second week in a row. "That's All Right Mama" / "Blue Moon Of Kentucky" on the Sun label sold for $2,500.00 with 18 bids from a starting bid of $1.04.
